The west coast’s biggest rock and alternative music festival is gearing up for another unforgettable year. That’s right, Aftershock 2026 is returning to Sacramento’s Discovery Park from October 1st through October 4th, bringing four full days of music and immersive experiences to Northern California.
And 2026 is one of the most diverse lineups in the festival’s history.
Presented by Danny Wimmer Presents, leading this year’s lineup are four powerhouse headliners representing the full spectrum of rock music: Pierce the Veil, Limp Bizkit, My Chemical Romance, and Tool. The undercard is equally impressive. Legendary punk rock veterans The Offspring will bring decades of hit songs to Sacramento, while hip hop icons Wu-Tang Clan add another layer of diversity to the festival’s ever-expanding musical landscape. Fans of alternative, emo, and post-hardcore music can look forward to performances from The Used and AFI, while Cypress Hill lights up the stage Friday with their signature stoner hip hop-meets-rock energy.
One of the most unique performances of the weekend will come from Danny Elfman. Known worldwide for composing the iconic soundtrack to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Elfman has become a festival favorite by blending orchestral masterpieces with rock-driven set lists that celebrate his decades-long career in film and music.
Another highly anticipated set comes from Sublime.
Carrying on the legacy of one of Southern California’s most beloved bands, the group now features Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob Nowell, on vocals. For longtime fans, it’s an opportunity to experience classic Sublime songs performed by the next best frontman of all time.
Beyond the music, Aftershock 2026 is bringing back one of the most requested features from years past — camping. Through a partnership with a nearby local campground, attendees will once again have the opportunity to stay close to the action throughout the weekend with a shuttle service between the campground and Discovery Park daily.
Festival organizers are also expanding the entertainment options beyond the stages. The Aftershock Jungle Bird Tiki Bar promises to be a popular destination, offering island-inspired cocktails and tropical vibes in the heart of the festival grounds, while Jack’s Lounge — hosted by Jack Daniel’s — returns with an interactive karaoke experience for festival-goers to step into the spotlight.
As always, Aftershock will feature a wide variety of food vendors, beverage options, artisan merchants, and interactive brand activations throughout Discovery Park, creating a full festival experience that extends far beyond the music.

A big change to note for 2026 is increased flexibility for festival-goers; for the first time ever, fans can choose between single-day, two-day, and four-day passes, making it easier than ever to experience the festival on their own terms. With more ticket options than ever before, Aftershock 2026 is shaping up to be one of the festival’s biggest and most accessible years yet.
