Starset says fight the New East in rebel Detroit demonstration

If you have come across this article, you are most likely a Messenger. This means I can trust you with this information. I had the privilege to witness the Starset Society give us a live demonstration in Detroit, MI.

It is imperative that you know what I learned, so you can be ready, too.

Throughout the demonstration, clips of a man — an auditor for Section 283 — was seen struggling to keep himself alive from cancer, despite not having enough credits to do so, while keeping watch over his wife who was supplicated. All of this was at the fault of the New East. His best way of escape is to use the “Frosting” method… you know, the method that makes us see and feel what we want when we want to escape reality? The next part you’re not going to believe…

The man eventually made a deal with someone who knew a way to free him from his situation. Imagine the idea of not worrying about the New East watching and controlling how we live our lives! It gets even better. Another man was also shown to have discovered the secret to shutting off our BMIs (brain machine interface)! 

In case you forgot, these devices are said to hack our brains to make them better when, really, they are slowly brainwashing us. He did an experiment with someone else to make sure shutting off the BMI worked, then met with the auditor that let him escape the sector he was in. After this, the same person who knew an escape appeared on the hologram on the front of the stage, telling us instructions to free us from the BMIs in our sector.

In between these clips, Starset would take the stage and completely obliterate one of their songs to explain what was happening in between the lines. Lead singer Dustin Bates started off in full ragged clothing and a space mask, eventually pulling it off during the third song.

The rest of the members wore specially made futuristic suits for the occasion.

Given the situation, Dustin was dressed in a way to make him look mad. Imagine a dude, in full beard and tattered clothing, showing up trying to convince you that you’re brainwashed and being controlled. Not very convincing, if I do say so myself. It helped seeing the other members like guitarist Brock Richards and bassist Ron DeChant slam their instruments while Dustin sang backup vocals.

It was even more convincing seeing violinist Siobhan show off her skills! Cellist Zuzana would back her up with her playing, as well. We can’t forget Adam on drums or Cory Juba — the newest member and keys master — who completed the group. The contribution of all the members added perspective to this demonstration, helping us all fully understand our situation. They’ve always been known to make each song sound intergalactic, apocalyptic, and dystopian.

At this point, we were convinced that once the BMIs were synced, we would be able to escape the world we are living in. Starset was not tied to the stage, free to do their thing and say what they wanted without any detection from the New East. They ended the night with their newest single, “TokSik”, calling out the insanity in our culture today.

Experience what I experienced and you’ll be convinced to join the rebellion, too.

All in all, I have zero regrets coming to see this band after six years of waiting. I lived through an entire experience unlike any other; it was interactive, the visuals were stunning (complete with holograms!!), and I left with my mind blown and wanting more. This is all I can tell you for now. If you happen to find out Starset is in the area, go and see their demonstration for yourself in case I have forgotten anything crucial.
