Flogging Molly ends their tour in Paso Robles with lively mosh inducing performance

The seven-piece Celtic punk band Flogging Molly had Vina Robles dancing and moshing all night to their beloved hits. Formed in 1995, this Irish-American band has long stood out in their genre, remaining at the top for years and drawing fans of all ages to their shows, ready to let loose. Paso Robles welcomed Flogging Molly back to the Vina Robles Amphitheater, and this time, they brought along The Rumjacks.

The Rumjacks, another Celtic punk band, opened the night with a high-energy set, with lead vocalist Mike Rivkees switching between the tin whistle and acoustic guitar. The originally Australia-based band shared their new single, “Come Hell or High Water,” with the Vina Robles crowd. Being the final stop on the tour, you could see each member playing tightly together and savoring the moment.

Flogging Molly’s set brought even more energy, with all seven members giving their all in their last full U.S. show of the tour (they would perform a quick set at Aftershock following this show). “Drunken Lullabies” surprisingly opened the set, immediately igniting the crowd.

Audience members ranged from toddlers to older fans reliving the glory days, and the circle mosh pit was in full force.

Dave King, one of the most engaging frontmen still performing after 25 years, poured passion into every song, his energy palpable on stage.

Hit after hit—“Swagger,” “Tobacco Island,” “Float,” “Rebels,” and “Devil’s Dance Floor”—kept the crowd moving and having a blast. Things slowed down as they played a favorite, “If I Ever Leave This World Alive,” along with a few other mellow tracks, before revving back up with “Seven Deadly Sins.” Along with their fantastic performance, Flogging Molly’s colorful stage lighting added an extra visual flair. They closed with a fan favorite, “Salty Dog,” leaving the audience with another unforgettable night at the Vina Robles Amphitheater.
