Dirty Heads & friends fill up Paso Robles venue
On August 6th, Vina Robles was blessed to host reggae hip hop group Dirty Heads with special guests The Elovaters, Tribal Seeds and SOJA. The Elovaters started off the evening with their authentic and upbeat beachy-style rock reggae music. They were great at making the audience sing and dance along! Next up was Tribal Seeds, who I was most excited for because of new lead singer Hector “Roots” Lewis (a reggae legend) filling in for this tour run! Tribal Seeds had so much energy, between Hector running around and Gonzo doing amazing guitar solos and connecting with the crowd.
It was one of the best Tribal Seeds performances I’ve seen.
After Tribal Seeds was SOJA, the first American reggae band to get me into the genre! They never disappoint. Their bass player had the best energy up onstage, running and jumping around — it was such a phenomenal performance. Last, but not least was Dirty Heads. This was my first time seeing them and I had heard how they put on a great performance! By the time they went on, Vina Robles was packed with roughly 1,500 people to see them perform, ready to dance and sing the night away. It was insane and I can’t wait to catch Dirty Heads again!
