Good Kid sells out Quartyard in downtown San Diego
On a rare drizzly San Diego evening, the city’s popular outdoor venue Quartyard was packed to capacity for Good Kid’s sold-out show on their This Can’t Be The End tour on April 5th, 2024. Despite the intermittent drizzle, the vibes were anything but dampened as fans came together for singalongs, beyblades (accompanied with beyblades cover songs), and to simply enjoy the music, because let’s face it — Good just brings out the best in everyone.
Comprised of lead vocalist Nick Frosst, drummer Jon Kereliuk, bassist Michael Kozakov, and guitarists David Wood and Jacob Tsafatinos, Good Kid brought their unique blend of indie rock to life and they sure do make it look fun.
The band’s mascot, Nomu Kid, added an extra touch of charm to the performance via cardboard cutout.
What started as a college friendship and a shared passion for gaming and music, Good Kid effortlessly came together to create the band we all know today. The members’ energy onstage is totally fun, relaxed… like you’re just hanging out with your five best friends.
The band played an extensive 18-song setlist, including “No Time To Explain”, “Witches”, plus a three-song encore with “Madeline (Laufey Cover)” “From the Start”, and “Mimi’s Delivery Service”. With a mostly sold-out tour spanning the United States and a future UK run on the horizon, Good Kid is proving themselves to be a force to be reckoned with in the indie music scene. Don’t sleep on these well-behaved kids — their star is on the rise and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
