Justice shines funk electro energy on San Francisco

There are few live acts that can consistently deliver a masterclass in controlled chaos as impactful as Justice. After an over-the-top headlining act to San Francisco’s own Portola Music Festival last fall, the French electronic duo took their sci-fi-esque light show and production back to the Bay Area, proving that their music stretches beyond Europe’s sprawling clubs.

From the moment the duo’s iconic cross illuminated the stage, the crowd burst with energy.

Justice comes across as cool, calm, and collected as they let their music and visual production speak for themselves. The multitude of ways in which light and shadow were used, moving in a geometric pattern, all culminated in an immersive experience unlike any other electronic act out there today. And the crowd was loving it.

The crafted setlist spanned the duo’s discography, showcasing their musical evolution. As the show went on, Justice revisited their older material although manipulating it with modern twists, determined to do things their own way. Needless to say, there was never a time the crowd was not moving; Justice had everyone in attendance at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium under a spell. Cheers till next time!
