Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts packs Paso Robles amphitheater

Paso Robles has got “Something To Talk About” thanks to the return of Koe Wetzel, this time selling out Vina Robles Amphitheater. Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts hit the stage ready to party, with high energy and kickass pyrotechnics.

Koe has become a fast-rising star: an outlaw in the country music scene, showing no sign of slowing down.

Back in 2019, Koe and the boys played at Barrel House Brewing in Paso Robles and, at the time, there were a couple hundred people in attendance. Now, the Texas “Fuss and Fight” singer is selling out shows all around the globe. The Damn Rear Normal World Tour has got plenty of upcoming dates — one of the summer’s hottest tickets you don’t want to miss!

Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts opened the show with their hit “Creeps”, as the pyro blasted. From the opening song, fans knew this was going to be a hell of a show. As the crowd sang along, Koe Wetzel took a break from his music to play some covers. Paying tribute to the recent passing of country icon Toby Keith, the crowd loudly sang along to “Should Have Been A Cowboy” — a legendary song in country history. Koe then switched it up to a cover of Sum 41‘s ”In Too Deep”, getting the crowd jumping and rocking out before he kicked into his newest release “9 Lives (Black Cat)”.

Of course, the show ended with his hit that everyone was waiting for: “February 28, 2016”, the song about his DUI arrest with mention of getting some Taco Bell. I’m sure many fans also ended their night by stopping and getting some Taco Bell after the show… hopefully without the DUI part. All in all, it was an outstanding performance from Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts, along with opener Tanner Usrey. Texas singer-songwriter Tanner Usrey and his band are up-and-coming in the scene, building a strong fanbase with deep meaningful lyrics and a country rock style. With songs such as “Beautiful Lies”, “Come Back Down”, and “Take Me Home”, the crowd was pleased to see Usrey perform live.
