Reverend Horton Heat at OC’s Garden Amp
On April 8th, Reverend Horton Heat headlined a show at the Garden Amp. They were supported by the Delta Bombers and 40 Acre Mule. 40 Acre Mule out of Texas started the night out, getting everyone moving with their mix of country, soul and rock sound. It was my first time seeing them and I was really impressed.
Next came the Delta Bombers from Las Vegas, rocking the stage and really getting everyone pumped up.
Finally, psychobilly superheroes Reverend Horton Heat hit the stage, with Jim Heath melting faces with his amazing solos. I have been a huge fan of the band for at least 20 years and every time I hear them, it’s always amazing. They played favorites like “Psychobilly Freakout” and and “In Your Wildest Dreams”… what an absolutely incredible night of rock and roll good times.
