The Last Gang at Anaheim’s Chain Reaction
When looking for something to do on a Wednesday night, there was nothing else to consider when I saw that The Last Gang was playing October 2nd at the infamous Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. As the crowd settled into the bar, Orange County’s own favorite punk band Chaser took to the stage. I was blown away by their robust sound and bold stage presence, especially lead singer Mike LeDonne. The all-ages crowd fed off the energy of the group, with youngsters stage diving into their parents’ waiting arms. The band’s heartfelt performance engulfed the crowd. Along with the insane talent of the musicians, the deep and sincere messages in the lyrics could be heard.Â
… The Last Gang got the crowd singing along with their infectious and relentless punk rock sound.
The savvy Brenna Red and The Last Gang were up next. Confidently controlling the stage and playing fan favorites like “Karla” and “Sing For Your Supper”, The Last Gang got the crowd singing along with their infectious and relentless punk rock sound. Red’s ferocious vocals and stellar guitar playing, backed by her incredibly talented group of musicians, showed phenomenal depth and range.Â
You do not want to miss either of these bands live! And, be on the lookout for a new album dropping soon from The Last Gang. You won’t be disappointed!
