It was day three at Wonderfront Festival and the grounds were busier early in the day, full of festival goers shopping around at any of the incredible vendor booths that were filled with one-of-a-kind art, clothing, jewelry and all the other festival accessories of your dreams. Over on the grounds on Embarcardo North, a stationary live band setup on the waterfront amongst a few food trucks giving Wonderfront-ers the chance to show off their sweet guitar skills or just play around on the piano.
It was truly beautiful to hang around and listen to little jam bands form! There were some seriously talented musicians in the audience!
The last day of the festival meant it was time to go all in at the shows. Gwen Stefani performed a show stopping headliner at the events.com stage after incredibly energizing performances from Cage the Elephant, Big Boi, MAX and Noah Cyrus. Over at Seaport Village, the party was going off at the Coors Light stage thank to Hippie Sabotage, Thundercat, and School Boy Q. The smaller stage setup allowed for an unmatched intimate setting with a giant crowd surrounded by tall skyscrapers. Neighboring down the rabbit hole in the ImmerXion stage was Cheat Codes, Bakermat and Party Shirt.
Wonderfront made its mark on America’s finest city leaving us with anticipation for more in the 2023 installment. I was so impressed with the wide array of artists spanning from country, alternative rock, reggae, rap, EDM and everything in between could be found at Wonderfront this year! In between all the music, if festival goers had some downtime there was an incredible amount of art installments, band jam sessions, and WIDE variety of food and drink to satisfy every craving. Even considering all these elements, I still have to say the most epic part about Wonderfront Fest was the view. There was nothing like a sunset over the water to your right, while amazing artists like Young the Giant serenaded you from the front. Festival friends don’t sleep on Wonderfront! You will want to get your tickets for next year at the lowest tier price, because…
