There are few things better than a night out watching your favorite band perform while enjoying a nice frosty brew. Following the success of 311 Amber Ale, the fine folks over at Tampa based Rock Brothers Brewing know this all too well and have partnered with California rooted band Rebelution to create what they simply call “Rebelution IPA.”
The band is as stoked about craft beer as any beer connoisseur or brewer would be.
Describing the characteristics of “Rebelution IPA,” Rock Brothers Head Brewer, Eric “The Brewer” Wannemacher states, “The pilsner and rye malts provide a crisp, refreshing and dry finish, while the fuggles and mosaic hops bring the tropical citrus and dense herb characteristics.”
The SoCal inspired IPA in the new series will allow diehard fans a small taste of some of the most elusive creations from Rock Brothers Brewing and Rebelution. Fans will get their first tasting opportunity at Rebelution’s next tour stop in the Tampa Bay area on June 25 in Vinoy Park.
“We’ve had a bad ass time creating beers with our favorite artists over the last few years,” said Rock Brothers founder Kevin Lilly. “Rebelution came to us through our mutual friend Vincent Jackson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it was an instant friendship on all levels. The band is as stoked about craft beer as any beer connoisseur or brewer would be. They have been drinking local craft since the early days of Cali IPAs and we love that they care as much about the music and beer industry as we do,” Lilly added.
Rebelution will be releasing a new album available this June titled Falling Into Place as well as hitting the road with The Green, J Boog, Stick Figure, Through the Roots, and DJ Mackle on their Falling Into Place summer tour. Pre-orders of the album are already under way and available on iTunes.
