Six time Latin Grammy winners Jesse & Joy, made the announcement on March 27th that they would embark on a “summer tour” of the United States and Canada, beginning on June 15th of this year in New York City.
According to a statement from Live Nation, the duo will tour in 29 cities in North America and Canada in support of their most recent album Clichés, released on May 6th, 2022. Their tour ends on August 12th, 2023, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In addition to other locations, they will stop in Boston, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Atlanta, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, and Austin.
Jesse & Joy have gained worldwide recognition as Mexico’s most adored musical power duo as a result of their honesty, talent, and distinctive style. Their huge collection of endearing lyrics and melodies includes hits like “Dueles,” “Corre!”, and “La De La Mala Suerte.” Their career has been defined by sold-out performances and several nominations for the most prestigious awards in the music business, earning them so far a Grammy and six Latin Grammys in addition to many other honors.
Originally from Mexico City, the brother and sister musicians have released five studio albums, one live album and one EP.
Folk, rock, grunge, and punk were influences for Clichés, according to Jesse Huerta, the guitarist and co-producer of the album with Federico Vindver, who has worked with musicians like Coldplay and Kanye West in the past.
Presale tickets went on sale yesterday at 7:00am PDT. General tickets will be available on Friday, March 31st at 10:00am PDT on livenation.com or from the duo’s website (support the band directly!).
