Mayhem returns to SoCal this fall after nine years of fest hiatus

Mayhem Festival is returning as a single-day destination event in Southern California this October 12th, 2024. This will be the first Mayhem event since the fest’s last touring run in 2015, making this announcement long overdue. The festival is also calling back to its roots by returning to the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California — where Mayhem Fest first began many years ago.

Spanning across all metal sub-genres, there’s a little something for everyone!

Throughout the years, Mayhem has had huge success bringing big name metal artists like Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, and Korn to the festival’s lineup. This year, Hit Parader promotors hit the mark with metalcore superstars Bad Omens, who recently cancelled all other touring gigs to focus on health and sustainability for the band. (So, this headlining performance is pretty special.)

More top-billed acts set to perform are Parkway Drive, Architects, Poppy, Jinjer, Kitty, and August Burns Red. Other artists featured for 2024 are We Came As Romans, Suicide Silence, After the Burial, Born of Osiris, Seven Hours After Violet, Darkest Hour, Mothica, Unearth, Holy Wars, and many others.

Tickets are still on sale now for this metal show of the year, but don’t wait, because they will sell out! Make sure you are following @Mayhemfest on all socials, because they have announced they will return as a touring event in 2025! Thats right, in 2025, Mayhem Fest will go back to a touring format, featuring the most renowned alternative metal and rock bands across the United States — presumably in the summer. Also, adding to the nostalgic Warped Tour vibes, is the fest’s head sponsor Hot Topic. It’s pretty much 2009 again. No lineup or dates are announced yet, so keep your eyes out and be in the know of this epic return to the metal community. Don’t miss out!
