Activist reggae artist Nattali Rize teams with fellow soldier Kumar in her upcoming “Indestructible”, a single due out December 11th via Ineffable Records. This release follows the conclusion of the pair’s global sustainability campaign, an initiative successfully aiding Kumar’s mother’s prep school in rural Jamaica during the current COVID era. Now together in music, the two rebellious musical agents are simply irrepressible.
Manifesting greatness is all in our mindset.
“Indestructible” is encouraging from the start, with consistently fierce vocal delivery by Rize, all set to a confident reggae backbeat. Be yourself, be an “anomaly”, march to the beat of your own drum, yet be true to your convictions, strike with “velocity”… “we are children of the sun”. Rize asserts the need to be “collectively unstoppable”, for it is time to build “better days”. Kumar balances out the missive, harmonizing in the chorus and furthering Rize’s action agenda in his own verse.
Rize comments on the single: “‘Indestructible’ has become a favorite song from my new album; it captures a very real and relevant feeling for me as a musician right now. Despite our entire music economy being turned upside down, music still lives and creates doorways and pathways to continue the mission and message, no matter what… creativity, art and music remain ‘Indestructible’.”
The single will be featured on Nattali Rize’s much-anticipated forthcoming album, Worldwide Rebellion. For more details or to be the first to hear the single when it hits digital outlets, pre-save via the links below.
