We know… this summer’s kind of bummer being stuck inside without a live concert in sight. But, if we have to live in a world without live performances, at least we have the powers of the Internet! What we all need right now is a virtual event highlighting the healing powers of reggae and that is exactly why NGBN.TV has partnered with Lucid to bring about the first ever Ocean to Ocean Virtual Reggae Concert Series — a four-part event, all online!
Let’s unite the world with reggae, coast to coast.
The first of the four livestreams is happening this July 11th at 7pm, welcoming to the virtual stage specifically island artists. The remaining three events on the trajectory… well, those themes have yet to be disclosed. Whether they feature island artists or not, this first event will focus on bringing island reggae right into your living room with performances by Jordan T, Tenelle, CRSB and Swell OC. Jordan T, often touring with the likes of New Zealand legends Katchafire, has a heavy Hawaiian charm exuding from him as he performs; to be honest, this quality, more often than not, renders the front rows of his shows to exclusively be women. Swooning women. It’s very entertaining. Up next, some eye candy for the men, self-made Samoan artist Tenelle takes centerstage, handing the baton over to San Francisco Bay Area duo CRSB. Lastly, Tongan artist Swell OC leads the event into the virtual luau into the night.
This exotic evening is yours for the low, low price of only $18.99! Brought to you by The National Grassroots Broadcasting Network, Oceans to Oceans Reggae Fest will continue three more times throughout the summer, creating a great escape from never-ending COVID restrictions and scares.
