We are proud to announce that Georgia-based rock/reggae band Passafire does not stop with one tour for their recently released fifth studio album Vines, but two! The band plans to embark on yet another 2014 tour in three weeks time to curtail their recently ended, although immensely successful, Winter Brewhaha Tour alongside Ballyhoo! and Pacific Dub, only twisted up to fit a novel audience!
To join them in their voyage, Passafire has signed on Lullwater out of the Pacific Northwest, strategically altering the attitude brought forth in their first tour. With a highly hypnotic and almost intoxicating grunge sound circa Seattle in the early 1990’s, Lullwater’s essence will naturally accentuate Passafire’s more raw rhythms and push for different darker attitude than the bright bubbly Ballyhoo! melodies. Ultimately, reggae fans of Passafire can expect to see not only an atypical side to their fan base, but also a contemporary performance showing off their heterogeneity!

The unfortunate aspect of this tour is that it is limited: the boys only plan to meander 24 cities along the east coast they know and love, performing a total of 26 shows (including their hometown of Savannah, GA), but leaving the west coast hungry for attention! Crafty as they are, the men of Passafire might have anticipated this reaction and thus have devised a wonderful finale show – possibly the greatest of them all – taking place at none other than Cali Roots 5th Annual Reggae Festival in Monterey, California over Memorial Day Weekend!
Starting March 14th and 15th in Snowshoe, West Virginia and thereafter stretching the east of the Mississippi until the 19th, look to see if Passafire is headed to rock a city near you!
