Raging Fyah from Kingston, Jamaica was in San Diego, California on March 10th, performing with Fortunate Youth and Stick Figure. Raging Fyah joined these bands for Stick Figure’s Set In Stone Tour, happening now and spreading across the entire nation.
The six-piece band provided the U.S. with some roots reggae music. They played most of their songs from their latest album, Judgement Day. The San Diego show was sold-out, and there was a good response to their opening set. They played such songs as, “Irie Vibes,” “Judgement Day,” and “Far Away.”
their rhythm was progressive for modern-day roots
Raging Fyah utilized double keys and double guitar. At times, their music appeared to carry R ‘n’ B vocals, and their rhythm was progressive for modern-day roots. Indeed, it has always been a pleasure for this reviewer to not only witness musicians from Jamaica play live music, but also, to be able to express gratitude for their journey and continuation of roots music.
From all of us here at Top Shelf Reggae, we thank Raging Fyah and their incredible team for allowing us to enjoy their roots music. For more information, check out the band on social media networks.
