Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen! Southern California’s premiere funky electronic music festival is back for another epic 2023 installment and the lineup is beyond your BIGGEST and WILDEST dreams! It’ll be GRIZ-ly if you miss this, cause your cousin Louis is bringing his Children, his Polos, and his Pans.
Okay enough of this punny business.
If you didn’t connect the dots, GRIZ makes his epic return for his second consecutive year, while Big Wild, Louis the Child, and Polo & Pan will make their Same Same But Different Festival debut this fall! If this doesn’t entice you and you don’t know Same Same But Different, let me introduce you.
Same Same But Different is returning to their beachy homeland for the fifth year in a row at Lake Perris near Moreno Valley, California. From September 28th to October 1st, 2023, the State Recreation area is transformed into a festival wonderland, where you can cool off and jam out to the beachside side better known as “The Coconut Club” during the day where, yes, you can drink out of a coconut. In the evening and into the night, the main stages (who play opposite schedules) come alive as the sun sets for what could possibly be the most epic festival experience you can imagine. If you aren’t rejuvenating at your campgrounds or at a stage dancing in the sand, you could check out an endless list of activities including yoga, meditations, painting, swimming, an array of vendors and food to satisfy every taste, and then the featured performances of the “But” Stage.
In the past we’ve seen circus performances, comedy, hula hooping, workshops… just to name a few.
And back to the music part — uhm, yeah, it speaks for itself. Hippie Sabotage and What So Not will also be joining this year for the madness, alongside Bijou, Blu DeTiger, BOOMBOX, cvbs, EAZYBAKED, Flamingosis, Kyle Kinch, Weiss, and many more artists… and even more surprises expected to be announced closer to the festival! We will also see some epic returns from The Motet, Moontricks, and Sunsquabi! This is not an event you will want to miss.
Tickets are available now for California’s best kept secret festival. Do NOT hesitate on securing your passes and any camping upgrades that are offered! RV and car camping are a MUST, and we recommend going further with group ticket bundles, early arrival passes (for camp setup), onsite glamping, and shuttles from San Diego and Los Angeles. There’s no excuse to miss this one folks! They’re even offering a ride!! Get your passes now!
