The Steppas release new single “We All”

During the majority of 2014 and 2015, The Steppas spent most of their time on the road touring the United States with Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, The Skints, Through the Roots, The Supervillains and Inna Vision.

It’s been roughly three years since Hawaiian roots reggae rock band The Steppas last released an album, and while the band is now writing material for its next studio effort set to be released later this year, The Steppas will be dropping their newest studio single on all digital outlets today titled “We All.”

You don’t have to be a musician, but you can be anything if you put your mind to it.

Lead vocalist Star Alaniz opens up the track by singing, “You can let go of all your fears and sorrow. And let love lead the way.” The new single talks heavily about what they believe in, which is standing together and never giving up on what you want in life. Overall, the Hawaiian boys have created a fresh touch to the mixture of roots and rock reggae and mastered their distinctive sound, making their music truly stand out.

When asked about song writing topics, Star said in a recent interview, “Whatever comes out I’ll try to write about, but most times I try to keep it more positive about life and just the outlook of things and just pretty much my message is that dreams really do come true – you can be anything you want. You don’t have to be a musician, but you can be anything if you put your mind to it. So that’s pretty much the message that I try to get out.”
