Ritt Momney sits down with Top Shelf Music

Ritt Momney, aka Jack Rutter, has made quite a name for himself in the music industry over the course of the last few years! One minute, he was just a young kid posting music on his TikTok and the next, he is a seasoned touring vet with two albums under his belt. He may have gained his initial fame with a fabulous cover of Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Put Your Records On”, yet Ritt has made sure to solidify his own unique style and sound through his original music. Ritt realized very early on that “music doesn’t have to sound like everything else for it to be good”. With that mentality, he painstakingly crafted a sound that pleased him above all other opinions.

Ritt Momney’s music is introspective and relaxing, deep and thought-provoking.

His approach to songwriting has bolstered his career in ways he couldn’t even imagine. With worldwide touring and countless streams of music, it seems as if Ritt is anything but a one-hit wonder.

We had the pleasure of catching up to Ritt at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta Georgia, where he talked about his sophomore album Sunny Boy, how he wishes he could change his name and how he feels about trying to navigate the music industry at such a young age. Check it all out above!
