Mammoth Reggae Fest 2021: Day Two

The second day of the 2021 Mammoth Reggae Festival kicked off with Roots Of Mine, a band from southern California. The festivities started up again around 12pm, with music at 3pm, giving people time to eat and shop around before the first band went on.

I was excited to finally see and meet Roots of Mine, who set the mood for the rest of the day!

Next to grace the stage was the iconic Angelo & Missin Links — also from SoCal. Angelo Moore is the lead singer of legendary 80s ska band Fishbone, so, naturally, this new outfit had an energetic rock ska sound to them. Following Angelo Moore was Jus Goodie! All the way from San Diego, Goodie’s set was very energetic and soulful, making everyone feel at ease with an overall great performance. Last to go on were The Expendables; this was my second time seeing them and they put in a great performance both times! Seeing 1,500 people or so singing along to a band is something that is so magical! Stay tuned for the Day Three Mammoth Reggae Fest gallery, coming soon.
