On Friday January 5th, Pato Banton & the Now Generation headlined the show at the iconic Whiskey A Go-Go. They were supported by High Quality Porn Music, Tracy Ann Lisa, Living Out War, The Bleeskiez, Josh Washington, and Irie Empire Dub Sound System (ft. Fat Horn from Inhale and Ras Ranger and Skunk Dub). The first few bands got the crowd warmed up enough for Irie Empire Dub Sound System who was on fire! They got the whole crowd dancing with a great combination of horns, guitar and bass that really made you want to move. And, then Pato Banton & the Now Generation came on, and gave the kind performance that they are known for: energetic, infectious and as looked around, I could see the whole crowd moving and singing along. They really put on a show that is as much fun to watch as to listen to. They were also joined on stage by Empress Akua, Nichelle Monroe, and Ladee Dred.
