Roaring Camp welcomes The Movement with Johnny Cosmic

On Thursday, July 15th, The Movement with Johnny Cosmic and friends brought the sounds of summer to the Santa Cruz Mountains at Felton’s Roaring Camp. It was the last weekend — meaning the last reggae show — of the summer series sponsored by Felton Music Hall and it did not disappoint. Smiles were on faces from the get-go, with Johnny Cosmic‘s opening set, who brought along familiar faces like KBong, Mike DeGuzman (of Passafire), Derek Waldmann on violin, Alific on bass and Caleb Hall Shield on drums.

On Cosmic’s last song, Movement lead singer Joshua Swain even jumped onstage for a cameo!

After a quick break, The Movement kept the party going, playing a rockin’ set featuring their new summer anthem, “Sounds of Summer (feat. Slightly Stoopid)”. Don’t miss out on The Movement, currently on tour now! Also, if you are in the Santa Cruz mountains and are sad to see this summer series end, don’t worry: keep your eyes peeled on Felton Music Hall’s and The Catalyst Club’s calendars for new shows posted weekly. Last, but not least, don’t forget about Santa Cruz Mountain SOL Festival this upcoming September 19th and 20th back at Felton’s Roaring Camp, with a stellar lineup including Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Rising Appalachia and more!
