Rocksteady Campout 2023: Day Two

The day two line up made it hard to tell that summer had officially ended, considering local bands Dub Force 5, Planting Seeds, Kruel Summer and Street Urchinz, all brought the heat!

Cydeways, a vibrant band hailing from Santa Barbara, California graced the stage with their eclectic blend of alternative rock and reggae to close out the musical side of the campout.

The energetic performances got everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating the arrival of autumn in true California style.

The high we got off their cloud, carried over to the lake, as attendees made their way back for a second night of drumming, singing and connecting around the bonfire.

The Rocksteady Adventures Campout, hosted by John and Trina Seale beautifully encapsulated the essence of summer’s end and the transition into an perfect start to fall. It was a gathering of kindred spirits who reveled in the serenity of nature and the power of music. Aaron Wolf’s solo acoustic performance touched the soul, while Cydeways set the stage for the lively, energetic days of the fall season that we all just embarked upon.

As the campout came to a close, attendees left with a sense of fulfillment, having experienced the beauty of Rocksteady and the magic of music in the heart of California. The event served as a reminder that, no matter the season, there’s always something special to celebrate when you’re surrounded by the right people in the right place.

And so, with hearts full and spirits uplifted, we bid adieu to summer, embracing the promise of autumn with a sense of joy and gratitude.
