Suki Waterhouse leaves St. Louis starry-eyed

Suki Waterhouse recently graced The Factory in St. Louis with a performance that left the audience starry-eyed. Taking the stage alongside a band known as Bully, the night was full of feminine power and catchy bops.

Bully, a rock band formed primarily by singer and guitarist Alicia Bognanno, started the night out with a very punk vibe. The band put on a show that began heavy and full of angst, and ended on a soft note with a more ballad-like song. It’s always refreshing to see a woman-led band like this that goes so hard… especially one that knows how to rock out like Bully did! Although not as pop-y as the act they were opening for, it still felt like a perfect fit to get the audience in the mood for more music.

Speaking of woman-led bands, Suki Waterhouse took the stage with all eyes on her.

The English singer, model, and actress put on an indie-pop showcase. Strutting the stage in a fluffy blue jacket, over the top of what looked like a shirt made of those little plastic glow-in-the-dark stars that you used to have on the ceiling of your childhood bedroom, the Suki Waterhouse showed that its possible to combine elements of modeling and acting in a musical performance. She clearly knew how to pose for a photo, and drum up the drama between audience and stage, all while powering through sweetly arranged pop jams.

If you like other female pop acts like Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo, then you are sure to like Suki as well. Waterhouse has opened up for the Swifities, and played on massive stages like Lollapalooza and more. Her music career is clearly on the come-up, despite recently having a baby with Hollywood star Robert Pattinson. In my opinion that sums up the truly impressive career and rise of pop star Suki Waterhouse. Despite wearing so many hats (actress, singer, model, and now mother) Suki proves that it’s possible to do it all at the highest level. This show is definitely not one you want to miss!
