On January 31st, Hawaii natives The Green performed at Thunder Valley Casino and Resort in Lincoln, California to the delight of their greater Sacramento fans. The anticipation leading up to this tour was unreal, as The Green announced that their 2020 spring tour marks a 10 year anniversary of their self-titled first album, along with the band’s plans to perform album in full. The Green was released in February 2010 and broke records by charting on Billboard for 69 weeks. It was even named Apple Music’s #1 Reggae Album of 2010. In the last 10 years of their career, The Green has toured the world extensively and won countless awards.

They reminded us of the importance of our involvement in our communities and to stand up for what is right in the face of adversity — “Ku Kiai Mauna“.
