The reggae rock festival kings who brought the world over 10 years of Cali Roots is proud to announce a kickoff series of shows, slated to take place throughout the next year leading to the beloved (and long-awaited) 2022 California Roots Music & Arts Festival in Monterey, CA. Included in this rundown is the inaugural Cali Roots Sessions: San Francisco: a two-day outdoor block party full of reggae — and we mean traditional island and Jamaican reggae — right in the heart of the Dogpatch District of San Francisco.
In light of the struggle to make any Halloween plans this year, it’s an easy ‘yes’ to catch legends Stephen Marley, J Boog and more on October 23th and 24th at The Midway!
It will be a weekend to remember! Don’t be late for the festival’s 1pm Saturday start time, ‘cause we got DJ Westafa and Big Body Cisco, plus Western Conference there to get the party started! Relax with the good vibes and voices of the lovely duet CRSB, then get down with the greatest reggae lineup this fall has to offer with Maoli, Fiji, The Green and, the one and only, J Boog.
Sunday is not a day you want to miss either, with incredible roots acts all day, opening with Rocker-T, Irie Dole, Jah Yzer & King Ivier for your enjoyment. Also slated to grace the stages on The Midway are Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi, Arise Roots, Yellowman, Don Carlos, Anthony B and — last, but not least — Stephen Marley himself to close out an epic festival block party!
