Audic Empire drops “Johnny Rotten” ska single & video
Ska-reggae-punkers Audic Empire return with new single “Johnny Rotten” and accompanying music video! A formidable creature, Johnny Rotten is (apparently) a “son-of-a-bitch”, from the wrong neighborhood, with the wrong attitude after waking up on the wrong side of the bed. “With a handlebar mustache and some bad tattoos”, Rotten will steal your girl and flip you off right before he does a kickflip on his board.
It’s oddly refreshing to watch Audic Empire relish in everything Rotten.
Considering the hardship countless people around the country currently face, it’s refreshing to see a ska band doing what they do best –having a laugh with their friends at a skate park. The ability to cut loose and jam live music without regulation and fear… hopefully, the rest of the world gets Audic Empire’s level soon.
The new single (produced by Ballyhoo! frontman Howi Spangler) is now available on all digital outlets, as the band gears up to hit the road.
