Leilani Wolfgramm unveils stripped acoustic version & video for “The Trail”
Singer-songwriter Leilani Wolfgramm is many things… of Tongan descent, daring, dabbling in realms of reggae rock, folk, experimental EDM. Yet, above all else, Wolfgramm remains raw. Two years following her emotionally-charged Live Wire full-length, Wolfgramm returns with a remix to “The Trail”, aka the album’s introductory track, via Mensch House Records.
As if “The Trail” couldn’t get more personal, Wolgramm releases a cutting acoustic version and accompanying video.
Bluesy, Gospel-infused, “The Trail” illuminates a cowgirl’s departure into the unknown. Wild, like the flowers of growing in the heat of the desert, Wolfgramm has been and always will remain. With a choir of “oohs” and “ahhs”, her journey transforms yet again with a melancholic twist to an already tangled tale. If her music is any indicator to her spirit, there is only one thing Wolfgramm can do — “keep walking little orange blossom”.
