The Green graces San Luis Obispo with Keznamdi
On February 6th, San Luis Obispo was blessed to host Hawaiian reggae legends The Green with Jamaican reggae’s Keznamdi at The Fremont Theater. Keznamdi started off the evening with their authentic and upbeat reggae music; they were good at getting the crowd involved to sing and dance alongside them! This will be my third time seeing them: once with Collie Buddz, then with Rebelution and now with The Green!
Every time I catch Keznamdi, they always blow my mind!
Next up was The Green, who had just got done playing the first annual Cali Vibes Festival down in Long Beach. The Green has played The Fremont many times and every time they play, they pack out the house. This was my second time shooting photos for the band although the fourth time seeing them live. When they came onstage, everyone went absolutely crazy. The Green is one band keeping Hawiian reggae music alive! When photographing the band, some of them would see my camera and point their instruments towards me and throw up shakas in order for me to get cool and creative photos. It was awesome! Don’t hesitate to grab tickets to see The Green in action if they perform in a city near you!
