Sound on Sound festival is returning this year better than ever to the shores of Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT September 30-October 1st, 2023. This year’s headliners features Connecticut native John Mayer, rock legends Red Hot Chili Peppers and alt-rock icon Alanis Morissette among many other fantastic artists all in one place!
“We are thrilled to bring the second annual Sound On Sound back to Seaside Park. Festival goers can expect to be wowed. The experience will be bigger and better this year from the acts, to the site, to the food and beverage offerings. We have turned the traditional festival upside down and created something really special for Connecticut,” said Howard Saffan, Partner, Sound On Sound.
To clarify, Saffin is referring to the reconfigured festival grounds at a new location (which doubled the size of the festival), redesigned walkways for ideal traffic flow, upgraded restroom facilities, clear and direct lighting and signage for important places such as stages and restrooms, increased mobile connectivity coverage provided by portable cell towers! This means you can actually text your friends or post your insta stories in real time!
Festival attendees can also expect a vast array of food options showcasing the finest local gourmet foods throughout the festival. This all ages festival will also cater to any dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Adults can enjoy craft beer, wine and cocktails from various bars throughout the grounds, including some specialty lounge spaces to relax on your favorite adult beverage. Enthusiasts can enjoy the wine grove or the craft beer & sports hall.
In addition to the incredible new amenities, Sound on Sound’s stage itself will also be completely redesigned with an incredible new viewing experience. Every artist will perform on a highly advanced audio and visual system that will allow for back to back performances with no overlapping sets; meaning you can see every single artist’s entire set! This is honestly the best festival set design any music lover could ask for! With names like Trey Anastasio Band, Hozier, Nathaniel Ratliff & the Night Sweats, Dispatch, Lord Huron, and Mt. Joy… it’s just a complete icing on the cake to not have to miss a single minute of it!
Fans will have different ticket options offering different experiences at Sound on Sound. GA tickets include the full two-days with access to all of Seaside Park complete with the array of food options that you can enjoy in the general admission’s chair and blanket or general viewing area. Premier pass holders can view the state-of-the-art stage design from a first come first serve, seated upgraded viewing, VIP holders have access to viewing at the front of the stage and expedited entry. Super VIP allows for front row viewing opportunities plus a super VIP air conditioned lounge with exclusive amenities.
