As the sun rose above the horizon, casting a warm glow over Marina Green Park, the final day of the Cali Vibes Festival unfolded in a crescendo of music, culture, and community. The air buzzed with anticipation as eager concert-goers poured into the venue, ready to experience a diverse lineup of musical talent and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
The day began with Tunnel Vision, whose blend of reggae, punk, and surf rock set the perfect tone for Day Three.
As the crowd swayed and danced to the rhythm, Bikini Trill took to the stage, infusing their laidback California vibes with a hip hop flair. Boostive then followed suit, entrancing the audience with their eclectic mix of funk, jazz, and soul. At the same time, Passafire brought their signature brand of reggae rock to the forefront, keeping the energy high and the crowd grooving.
As the afternoon sun peaked, Tropidelic and Bumpin Uglies took centerstage, delivering wild performances that you could not look away from for a second. By midday, Artikal Sound System and Through The Roots continued the reggae-infused festivities, their positive vibes keeping spirits high.
As the sun began to set, Kabaka Pyramid dynamically and energetically brought Jamaica’s reggae revival movement to the forefront of this widely American reggae fest. Fortunate Youth and Protoje were next in line, the latter of which is credited as the founding father of the reggae revival movement.
And then, as darkness descended upon the park, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. The Roots, Ice Cube, and Rebelution took to the stage to close it all down, each delivering an insane show. From the hip hop energy of The Roots to the iconic hits of Ice Cube and the sweet reggae rock sounds of Rebelution, it was a perfect end to an unforgettable installment of Cali Vibes Fest. Cheers to next year!
