Giovannie & The Hired Guns pack the house in Fresno, CA

April 30, 2023 was a history making night at Strummers in Fresno, California. Music lovers were invited to see an amazing band roll through town; Giovannie & The Hired Guns rocked the house!

Texas based country-rock band had the house packed and had attendees eager to experience the outstanding live show the band has come to be known for.

To open the show, they had YouTube/TikTok rising artist, Letdown. He easily won over the crowd with his powerful vocals belting out meaningful lyrics accompanied by impressive guitar shredding and gut punching drum beats. I recommend you check them out, especially a live show — you will not be disappointed. Chicago/Nashville based rocker has grown a big fan base in just three years of starting to produce great sounding music. Letdown recently dropped an album Crying In The Shower, they are sharing all the new tunes with a high energy performance that old and new fans will not forget.

Giovannie & the Hired Guns hopped up next and, man, the stage performance was on point! All members of the band were all over the stage and interacting with the crowd. Giovannie & the Hired Guns don’t often play on the west coast but I’m hoping this changes soon — and with the line wrapped around the building waiting for doors to open, I think it just might.

Californians saw the band play all their hit songs including “Ramon Ayala,” a song named after a famous Mexican singer/songwriter, whom frontman Giovannie had admired as child. If you get the chance to have this band in a town near you it’s a must go.

The band has become larger and larger over the years. There is no doubt that they will be around for a long time.
