X Ambassadors hosts benefit for abortion rights in Los Angeles

What seemed to be another regular concert at the iconic Troubadour turned out to be a marvelous night, headlined by X Ambassadors and full of surprise guests — all to support reproductive rights, thanks to the National Network of Abortion Funds foundation. X Ambassadors — along with Rosie, Jensen McRae, Lexi Jayde, corook, Grandson and Upsahl — came together for one night, giving a sold-out crowd a special acoustic performance, hosted by the comedian Sandy Honig. As the show went on, an electric guitar was being raffled off to which fans could purchase a ticket for $10…

Someone really went home with an electric guitar for $10.

All the merch and raffle tickets purchased throughout the night went towards the total amount raised for abortion funds. Speaking of, Sandy, Upsahl and corook came out to announce the total amount raised; we were pleased to hear the event was able to raise $17,000 to support abortion rights!! It was also a pleasure to hear all the artists give mini speeches about a woman’s right to abortion; it reminded everyone why they were there, in support of an issue that should not be an issue.

X Ambassadors took the stage and went immediately into hit single “Renegades”. It was amazing to see everyone smiling and singing along with the band! The band has an enchanting sound — a perfect way to end the night. A huge thanks to X Ambassadors for providing an entertaining way to support a great cause!
