WORLD VIDEO PREMIERE: Ha’angana “Wondering”

Rising island reggae artist Ha’angana combines illustrious illustrations with lyrics full of sorrow in the this world video premiere for “Wondering”! The single, out as of July 28th, builds towards what can only be a well-welcomed full-length album, due out September 30th via Rebel Sound Records.

Sweet melodies and sorrowful themes combine in this island ballad that leaves you “wondering”.

Of Tongan heritage and currently living in the New York area, Ha’angana combines traditional island sounds with the hustle and bustle lifestyle of the east coast, allowing beautifully rhythmic beats to be paired with bluesy guitar solos. A blaring organ signifies repentance as Ha’angana laments “I’m wondering where you are, cause you’re not with me”. Mirroring this theme is the animated lyric video (that Ha’angana constructed himself!!), with the soft pinks and oranges of a sunset sky descending upon a city street, communicating the dusk of an era gone too soon. Loneliness is all that’s left until the sun may rise again.

Considering Ha’angana wrote and produced the song, as well as the artsy video, it’s safe to say he is quickly becoming a master of his trade. If this lyric video wasn’t enough, the Tongan artist is about to drop yet another single before his upcoming album on August 26th, titled “Proud Of” and featuring the talents of Bonafide!
