Excellent news from Nick Sefakis, roots-reggae musician of the sizzling band, Iya Terra. Known for his superb guitar skills and fabulous vocals, Sefakis is excited to announce the release of his very own, self-produced full-length album he’s been working on for the last two years! At first listen, Sefakis’ musical talent shines through on Foundation, with a unique singing voice and beautiful harmonizing abilities, so be ready to hit repeat.

The messages conveyed on the 10-track release are meant to inspire you to be conscious of not losing sight of the unseen. Nick wants people to know that the foundation of roots-reggae music is still alive and part of the world. That is important to him, because with all of today’s distractions, you can learn something through reggae music regardless of your color or race.
Sefakis stays true to roots music, which resonates within his heart. Furthermore, Foundation also has three exciting features. The song “Lion Order” features Elliot Martin (of John Brown’s Body, a New York-based reggae group that has been around for over two decades), while “Don’t Want Conscious” highlights Rik Jam from Kingston, Jamaica. A special thanks to Phillip McFarlane (of EarthKry) and Irie Yute Records for setting that up! And, last but not least, David Yun (of Eureka Sound, an up-and-coming band from Los Angeles) is featured on the track “Live Free”. Sefakis would also like to send a shoutout to Gary “Big G” Larason for mastering this album and to Ras Elijah for the incredible artwork. Pre-orders are available TODAY, with release date February 21st, 2020.
